Erik Anderson is departing the Florida Fire Frogs (High A; Florida State League), as he is resigning from his post as Team President and General Manager. His departure was announced by the organization on Friday.
“I would like to thank the Fire Frogs and owner David Freeman for the opportunity to be a part of the organization,” Anderson said. “Growing up a few miles from the ballpark and attending Gateway High School across the street, baseball has always had an influence on me, as my first memory of life was here with my dad. And having the ability to work for a minor league organization in my backyard while giving back to that same community has been an amazing experience I will never forget. Keep banging the drums on Friday nights Coquis fans. Me fui!”
North Johnson will assume the role of General Manager of the Florida Fire Frogs with the departure of Anderson.
