The Omaha Storm Chasers (Class AAA; Pacific Coast League) have announced Werner Park upgrades for 2019, including the new Jack Daniel’s Club and other improvements.
New for 2019 is the Jack Daniel’s Club (shown above), a premium club area open to all 70-game Storm Tracker members, as well as Suite and Club holders during Storm Chasers home dates. Access to the Jack Daniel’s Club will also be available to those single-game Club and Diamond Club seat ticketholders. The club also functions as a special event and meeting space perfect for banquets and parties that can hold up to 200 guests. Located next to the Jack Daniel’s Club on the first base side is the George Brett Suite, a new party suite that overlooks the playing field and can accommodate up to 36 guests.
Both the Jack Daniel’s Club and George Brett Suite can be booked for special events and parties.
Fan safety upgrades will also be implemented at Werner Park in partnership with Sarpy County, with the extension of the protective netting behind home plate. The new top-of-the-line netting will extend to the outfield ends of both the first base and third base dugouts to further protect fans from batted balls and other objects entering the seating bowl.
In partnership with Sarpy County, the Storm Front Team Store has also been expanded, providing more room for fans to purchase Storm Chasers and Royals merchandise. The Sarpy County Tourism Offices will also be located in the new expanded space next door to the Storm Front Team Store as part of the upgrades.
Another new feature at Werner Park will be a Mascot Land down the first base line past the Sarpy County Smokehouse, giving little Chasers fans a dedicated area to interact with the Storm Chasers’ mascots during games. In addition, more than a dozen 55-inch high-definition televisions will also be added during the 2019 season throughout the concourse at Werner Park in partnership with ISM Connect and Minor League Baseball, which will feature team content, promotions and sponsor-branded messaging.
Fans will get a sneak peak at some of these additions at the Storm Chasers’ annual ‘Taste, Tour & Tickets’ event on Saturday, March 16 from 11:00am until 2:00pm. For $5, fans will have the chance to taste three new Werner Park offerings, including BBQ potato skins, bacon-wrapped pork on a stick and a pasta station. Free tours will also be offered, along with the chance to purchase $5 Baseline Box tickets to Opening Night.
