Teams around Minor League Baseball are always looking for ways to host events other than baseball games at their ballparks. This includes concerts, a traditionally popular offering that will be seen at ballparks around the minors in 2018.
Several high-profile tours—including those from Nelly and Jake Owen—are making stops at minor league facilities this season for stand-alone concerts, but that is just one part of the slate of musical acts at MiLB ballparks in 2018. Jake Owen’s performance at SRP Park on May 19 will be the first concert in the ballpark’s history. SRP Park is set to open in North Augusta, SC next month, and will host its first game for the GreenJackets (Low A; Sally League) on April 12.
The concerts listed above are what have been announced to date. However, more shows could be announced over coming weeks and months and potentially add to what is already a strong slate across the minors.
