The Stockton Ports (High A; California League) are the latest team to join the Ballpark Pass trend, unveiling their new PassPORT subscription.
After increasing in prevalence at the major league level in 2017, ballpark passes are poised to be even more widespread in 2018. The Lansing Lugnuts (Low A; Midwest League) just announced their plans for a new Ballpark Pass, and the Ports are unveiling a similar offering with their new PassPORT.
The PassPORT will be available for purchase on a month to month basis online at stocktonports.com, at the Ports box office, and over the phone at (209) 644-1900. The pass will be sold for $30 per month beginning Wednesday, March 7th. Once purchased, fans will be able to access the PassPORT by downloading the Experience App onto their mobile device.
For the $30, fans get standing room only access to all games in the month for which they have the pass (this excludes the July 3rd game). Standing room only access in Banner Island Ballpark is located in the following lounge areas: The Left Field Bar area/Drink Rail, Coors Light Cold Zone, Corona Cabana, ABLE Charter School Homerun Hill, and interactive 360 concourse.
In addition, fans who purchase the PassPORT will also receive one free General Admission ticket to an Oakland A’s game that is good for one of the following dates: Tuesday, April 3rd (OAK vs. TEX), Tuesday, May 8th (OAK vs. HOU), or Tuesday, May 22nd (OAK vs. SEA). This will also include free parking at the Coliseum as part of the A’s free parking Tuesday’s promotion.
