Lansing Lugnuts to Offer Ballpark Pass in 2018

Lansing Lugnuts

The Ballpark Pass trend is spreading to Cooley Law School Stadium, as the Lansing Lugnuts (Low A; Midwest League) are debuting a pass for the 2018 season.

During the 2017 season, ballpark passes were rolled out by many teams, especially those at the major league level. While there were variances among the offers from individual teams, ballpark passes tended to stick to a common set of ideas. For a monthly fee, fans could access all or nearly every game, with the pass available via the MLB Ballpark App.

The trend continues to spread throughout professional baseball, and will be evident in Lansing during the 2018 season. The Lugnuts Ballpark Pass will allow fans to digitally access their tickets for every home game.

“Cooley Law School Stadium and downtown Lansing have seen quite the transformation in recent years. With the influx of residential housing in the area, we wanted to look at some different ticketing options,” said Lugnuts general manager Tyler Parsons. “The Ballpark Pass has grown in popularity with MLB teams, and we saw a great opportunity to roll out something similar in Lansing.”
