Personnel News: Omaha and New Hampshire

Omaha Storm Catchers

We have personnel news to report from the Omaha Storm Chasers (Class AAA; Pacific Coast League) and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Class AA; Eastern League).

In Omaha, the Storm Chasers have announced several moves within their front office, including a series of additions and promotions.

“We are very excited with the experience we have added to our front office,” said Storm Chasers President and General Manager Martie Cordaro. “With a variety of geographical and duty backgrounds, each new team member brings something unique.”

Several additions have been announced in the Sales Department. Jordan Yurth joins the franchise as a Sales Executive after spending the previous three years with the USHL’s Lincoln Stars. In addition, Cody Stewart begins his first year with the Storm Chasers as the Sales and Marketing Assistant.

The Ballpark Operations Department features changes as well. Kathleen Ezell begins her first year as Special Events Coordinator after previously working with the Bakersfield Blaze. The Storm Chasers have also announced the promotion of Kory Foster to the role of Ballpark Operations Assistant after serving as an associate with the organization.

The Storm Chasers have also made several more additions to bolster the team’s front office. Coeli Danella is the new Creative Services Manager, while Anna Del Castillo joins the organization as Ticket Operations Manager. Danella’s previous experience includes stints with the Charlotte Stone Crabs and Augusta GreenJackets, while Del Castillo spent her prior two seasons with the Montgomery Biscuits. Trudi Barber also joins the organization’s Financial Department in the role of Accountant.

In New Hampshire, the Fisher Cats have named Jeff Tagliaferro their new vice president of sales.

A native of Bedford, N.H. with more than 20 years of experience in sports entertainment and client service, Tagliaferro adds energetic local talent to the Fisher Cats front office as the team prepares for the 2017 All-Star Season.

“Jeff brings passion, energy, and a winning personality to our leadership team,” said Fisher Cats President Mike Ramshaw. “He’ll continue to develop partnerships with businesses in our community and beyond, and we’re proud to have another member of our staff with strong New Hampshire roots. We couldn’t be happier to have him on board.”

Most recently, Tagliaferro spent over four years as a Senior Account Executive with New Hampshire Motor Speedway, earning the honor of “Salesperson of the Year” in 2013.

Tagliaferro has been working in sports since 1994, including five years in the Fisher Cats front office (2003-2008). He also spent four seasons with the Phillies Double-A affiliate in Reading, Pa. and four years as the General Manager of UNH Wildcat Sports Properties with Learfield Sports.

“I know first-hand, the Fisher Cats are a tremendous organization that continues to make a positive difference in this community,” Tagliaferro said. “It’s a privilege to rejoin this talented and dedicated front office, and I can’t wait to show our fans what we have in store for the 2017 All-Star Season.”
