Portland Sea Dogs

We have some personnel news to share from the Portland Sea Dogs (Class AA; Eastern League), who have announced several promotions within their front office ranks. Sea Dogs Executive Vice President & General Manager Geoff Iacuessa made the announcements.

Chris Cameron has been promoted to Vice President/ Communications & Fan Experience after spending the last nine seasons as Assistant General Manager & Director of Media Relations. In his new position, Cameron will play an integral role in enhancing the fan experience at the ballpark through promotional events, fan integration, and customer service, while continuing to oversee the teams’ communications efforts. Cameron will be entering his 21st season with the Sea Dogs organization. He graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a degree in Sport Management. A native of Brunswick, he now resides in South Portland.

Dennis Meehan has been named Assistant General Manager/ Sales. He has spent the previous four seasons as the teams’ Executive Director of Sales. He will continue to oversee all sales efforts including tickets, groups, and corporate partnerships. Meehan has 12 seasons of minor league sports experience. He started his career in the sports industry as an intern with the Sea Dogs in 2003. He has also spent time with the New Britain Rock Cats, New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Maine Red Claws, and the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce. A graduate of Wheaton College, Meehan, is a native of Jefferson, Maine and now resides in Scarborough.

Courtney Rague has been promoted to Director of Promotions. Rague will be entering her eighth season with the organization, most recently serving as an Account Manager and On-Field Promotions Coordinator. Rague will be responsible for all Sea Dogs’ promotions including season long promotions, special events, on field promotions, and more. Rague, a native of Old Orchard Beach, graduated from St. Joseph’s College with a degree in Sport Management.

After serving three seasons as an Account Manager, Justin Phillips has been promoted to Director of Corporate Sales. Phillips is a Brunswick native who graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a B.S. in Marketing. He now resides in Buxton.

Mike Antonellis has been named Director of Broadcasting & Media Relations. Antonellis returns for his 13th season as the “Voice of the Sea Dogs”. In addition to his broadcasting duties, Antonellis will now handle all baseball related media relations duties. The 2017 season will be Antonellis’ 21st season in Minor League Baseball. The Ashland, Massachusetts native graduated from Framingham State University and now resides in Old Orchard Beach.
