The Boise Hawks (Short Season A; Northwest League) will air their games online this season, as the team has announced a broadcast partnership with TuneIn internet radio. As part of the agreement, all 76 regular season games can be streamed live on the Hawks’ website, or through the Minor League Baseball First Pitch and TuneIn radio apps.

Furthermore, the Hawks have announced that Steve Granado will provide the play-by-play. “I’m so incredibly thrilled to be joining the Hawks. Baseball has been the love of my life since I was a kid and to be able to become a part of this organization is a true honor,” Granado said.

Granado graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Radio/Television/Film. Last season, he worked in media relations for the 2015 California League Champion Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. He also worked for two seasons as the play-by-play voice of Cal State Fullerton’s Ice Hockey team and for The Webb Schools’ Athletics (Claremont, CA). Granado is a Southern California native who grew up in Orange County. Coverage for each Hawks’ game will begin 15 minutes before first pitch with the Boise Hawks’ Pre-Game Show. After each game, Granado will provide a post-game show, along with post-game recaps and future updates.

“The Hawks are thrilled to have Steve on board with the organization and calling games this summer,” said Hawks’ general manager Bob Flannery. “We can’t wait for the season to start and have Steve up in our broadcast booth.”
