We have a new name for the home of the Harrisburg Senators (Class AA; Eastern League): FNB Field, after F.N.B. Corporation acquires the previous naming-rights holder, Metro Bank.
“First National Bank is thrilled that the Harrisburg Senators will now call FNB Field home,” said Tony Sacco, President of FNB’s Capital Region, which includes 17 counties in central and eastern Pennsylvania. “Our significant partnership with the team, a vital and highly visible member of the community, is a testament to our commitment to the region and to making it an even more exceptional place to work and play.”
Visitors to FNB Field will have access to two on-site FNB ATMs, which join FNB’s network of more than 300 locations and more than 400 ATMs throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio and West Virginia. Combined with leading online and mobile banking solutions, these locations offer sports fans and travelers convenient banking services even when they are on the go.
“Partnering with First National Bank is something we are really excited about,” said Senators president Kevin Kulp. “Together we are going to strive to do what we can to not only provide the best entertainment value but also to continue our mission to contribute to this region in every way we can.”
Opened in 1987 as RiverSide Stadium, FNB Field was called Metro Bank Park since 2009. F.N.B. Corporation recently completed its merger with Metro Bank’s parent company, Metro Bancorp, Inc.
