Personnel moves in Florence, San Rafael

Florence FreedomSome personnel news to note: Aaron Morse is the new voice of the Florence Freedom (independent; Frontier League), while Jennifer Clark joins the San Rafael Pacifics (independent; Pacific Association) front office.

Morse joins the Freedom as Director of Broadcasting & Media Relations.

“I’m excited for this opportunity,” Morse said. “I will bring a high level of energy and accuracy to every broadcast. Baseball is what I eat, sleep and breathe. My knowledge of the game both past and present will make every broadcast, no matter the score, entertaining. This is going to be a fun season at UC Health Stadium and on the road in the Frontier League.”

Morse is no stranger to the league. For the past three seasons he has called games for the West Division’s Joliet Slammers, including their 2011 championship season.

He and current Freedom Assistant General Manager of Marketing & Promotions Sarah Eichenberger were members of the Slammers’ marketing team in 2011 and 2012. In 2011 the Slammers were honored by Ballpark Digest for having the best logo & branding in all of professional baseball.

Morse served as a broadcaster in the Southern League for the Huntsville Stars Radio Network in 2010 and spent two seasons broadcasting in the Alaska Baseball League as well. He is a proud graduate of Northwestern University where he majored in broadcast journalism. Morse spent countless hours broadcasting Northwestern sports during his time in Evanston, IL. He is originally from Seattle and is a long-suffering Mariners fan.
