A nice promotion to report: Tyler Isham is the new general manager of the Madison Mallards (summer collegiate; Northwoods League).
Isham will work directly with Mallards President Vern Stenman and Mallards Chief Operating Officer Conor Caloia.
“We are excited to give Tyler an expanded role with the Mallards,” Caloia said. “He has worked his way up the organization since starting as an intern. Tyler has earned this challenge and I look forward to him leading the Mallards to continued success.”
Isham enters his fifth overall season with the Mallards, advancing through the organization since starting as a public relations intern in the summer of 2011. He spent this past season as assistant general manager, managing the team’s marketing department and executing corporate sponsorships. Isham has also spent time as the Group Sales Manager and the past four seasons in a public relations role, writing all press releases and overseeing content on MallardsBaseball.com. Isham is a 2011 graduate of Beloit College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications. He is originally from Walworth, Wis.
“I am so thankful to the Mallards organization, Steve Schmitt, Vern Stenman, and Conor Caloia for this amazing opportunity,” Isham said. “I can’t wait to continue to provide our fans and the Madison community with amazing entertainment at the Duck Pond next summer. The staff and I are ready to work hard to make 2015 the best season of Mallards baseball yet.”
