Pelicans retain Legends to shop ballpark naming rights

Myrtle Beach PelicansThe Myrtle Beach Pelicans (High Class A; Carolina League) have retained Legends Sales and Marketing (LSM) to exclusively sell the naming rights to Pelicans Ballpark, as well as develop and identify new sponsorship opportunities and partners for the club.

“We are proud to partner with such a reputable and professional company that is experienced and proven in delivering results for their partners in this space,” said Chuck Greenberg, chairman and managing partner of the Pelicans. “The excellence for which the Pelicans franchise has become known combined with our location in the number 2 family vacation destination in the country creates a unique opportunity to broaden our base regionally.  Legends experience and national presence positions the franchise to maximize this opportunity.”

“We are excited to represent the Pelicans organization and search for the ideal partner to maximize their revenue streams to support their long term viability and help further enhance the fan experience of this  already great venue,” said Legends Vice President of Sponsorships George Manias.

Legends, of course, is owned by the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees as a vehicle for sports marketing, ticket technology, market research, concessions and more.
