Nice milestone: The Winston-Salem Dash (High Class A; Carolina League) are poised to welcome the millionth fan to BB&T Ballpark tonight.
Since BB&T Ballpark’s opening in April 2010, the Dash pace all 30 High Class-A teams in attendance. Winston-Salem has drawn more than 300,000 fans in each of the facility’s first three full seasons. These fans have created a home field advantage for the Dash, who boast Minor League Baseball’s best home record since 2010. Winston-Salem owns an all-time record of 140-82 (.631) inside BB&T Ballpark.
The Dash will honor the occasion by randomly selecting a fan from the crowd to participate in a game of chance on the field. The fan will win one of three prizes: one million dollars, a two-year lease on a $30,000 vehicle from Flow Companies, LLC, or two Dash tickets for life.
