Navigators staff up for 2013

North Shore NavigatorsThe North Shore Navigators (summer collegiate; FCBL) have laid in plans for the 2013 season, bringing back four employees to build on a successful 2012 season.

The announcement came from General Manager Bill Terlecky on Tuesday afternoon at Fraser Field.

Ashley Laramie, a Lynn resident, has been promoted from Director of Community Relations to the Assistant General Manager. Laramie, who is entering her fourth season with the Navigators, will be in charge of coordinating host families, and renting out the party decks for both corporate and family outings. Sam Barlow, a Newburyport resident, is currently a sophomore sports management major at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Barlow, who is entering his second season with Navigators, will serve the Navigators as a Stadium Operations Manager. His responsibilities will include ensuring that game-day operations run smoothly as well as promoting good customer service.

Andrew Keeter, a Swampscott resident, graduated from Springfield College this past May with degrees in Sports Management and Business Management. Keeter, who is also in his second season, will serve as the Corporate Sales Manager. His duties will be to represent the Navigators in the North Shore Community selling season ticket packages and group outings.

Joe Gill, a Lynn resident, will be graduating from Saint Anselm College in May with a degree in Politics. Gill, who is in his third season with the Navigators, will serve as the Director of Media Relations. Gill’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to managing the press box at all home games, providing media outlets with both statistics and press releases, and maintaining the Navigator website.
