The Portland Sea Dogs (Class AA; Eastern League) — never ones to pass on offseason improvements — have released a list of enhancements to the fan experience at Hadlock Field this season.
Among the improvements on the concessions side: Shain’s of Maine Frozen Yogurt, microbrew from Baxter Brewing and Pineland Burgers from Pineland Farms.
Physical improvements include new speakers throughout the ballpark, new netting behind home plate and a new speed pitch machine.
Finally, after a two-year absence, the Lobster Toss will return to Hadlock Field. The promotion features two contestants working together to catch rubber lobsters being thrown at them in a lobster trap.
