Tucson Padres announce staff hirings

Tucson PadresThe Tucson Padres (Class AAA; Pacific Coast League) unveiled its staff lineup for the 2011 season, as GM Mike Feder is joined in the front office with some familiar names from MLB and MiLB teams.

Jack Donovan is the Tucson Padres Senior Advisor and has been involved with professional sports for over thirty-eight years, both as a player and front office executive. After pitching professionally in the Angels and Dodgers organizations, he began owning teams in Minor League Baseball. Jack lives in Tucson with his wife of thirty-six years, Connie. Their daughter Erin lives in New Jersey with her husband Greg and their two children, Greg III, and Eve. Their son Shaun is currently serving on active duty in the United States Navy.

The Tucson Padres staff may be the most athletic in all of Triple-A Baseball. Between Director of Community Relations Crissy Ahmann (now Crissy Perham) and Sports Marketing Specialist Ed Vosberg, the staff has an Olympic Medalist and a ten-year Major League pitcher. Ahmann won two gold medals and one silver medal for the United States Olympic Team in the 1992 Summer Games. Vosberg, a Tucson native, pitched for eight Major League teams and was the first player to play in the Little League World Series, College World Series and World Series.

Ray Depa joins the Tucson Padres Sales Staff as Senior Account Executive after 44 years in the news business. He had two different stints as the News Director of KGUN-TV, Channel 9 in Tucson. He is the former Chair of the Arizona Broadcasters Association and past President of the Tucson Advertising Federation.

Pattie Feder has worked in professional baseball over 30 years. She is the Tucson Padres Business Manager and Director of Merchandise, and will oversee sales of the brand new Tucson Padres items. Her most recent job in baseball was the travel coordinator for the New Orleans Zephyrs.

Sandy Davis is entering her 16th year in professional baseball, with previous experience working for the Triple-A Tucson Toros, Triple-A Tucson Sidewinders and the Independent Tucson Toros. She is the Tucson Padres Director of Inside Sales.

Debbie Clark is the Director of Game Day Staff for the Tucson Padres and also handles the Padres Graphic Design work. She has spent 10 years working in the Tucson baseball community, with both the Triple-A Tucson Sidewinders and Independent Tucson Toros before joining the Tucson Padres staff.

Eric May begins his 15th year in baseball, having worked for the Tucson Toros, Tucson Sidewinders, Arizona Diamondbacks and Chicago White Sox Spring Training, and the Pima County Stadium District. He made baseball his second career after working seven years in information technology throughout Europe. He is the Tucson Padres Director of Operations.

James Jensen is the Tucson Padres Director of Sales. The Spokane, WA native graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arizona with a degree in Business Marketing and a minor in Communication. He spent four seasons coordinating the Spring Training Operations for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Chicago White Sox.

Tim Hagerty joins the Tucson Padres as Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations. He is entering his eighth season in professional baseball, and has broadcast for the Triple-A Portland Beavers, Double-A Mobile BayBears and Short-Season Idaho Falls Chukars.
