UO holds topping-off ceremony for PK Park

The ongoing construction project known as PK Park reaches another milestone.

The ongoing construction project known as PK Park at the University of Oregon reached a significant milestone yesterday: the school held a topping-off ceremony as the last beam on the concourse roof was put in place.

The Ducks played at the ballpark last season, though it was in an unfinished state. The next round of construction will install eight suites and all 2,600 chairback seats.

The ballpark will also be home to the Eugene Emeralds (short season; Northwest League) beginning in 2010.
