The extreme makeover of Metro Bank Park, the home of the Harrisburg Senators (Class AA; Eastern League), continues this offseason with a new grandstand.
The main seating bowl of Metro Bank Park is currently being removed as part of phase II of the ballpark renovations. The left-field seating areas have been completely removed, as well as the reserved seating above the third base dugout has been completely removed. The removal of the roof has started along with removing the box seats and stands behind home plate. This process should be completed by the end of the week.
The demolition and removal of the stands and buildings should be completed by the end of next week.
