Sea Dogs sell naming rights to Maine Monster

The Portland Sea Dogs’ version of the Green Monster has a new sponsor: Hood.
The Portland Sea Dogs (Class AA; Eastern League) has sold sponsorship rights to its version of Fenway Park’s Green Monster, the Maine Monster. The 37-foot-high Hadlock Field right-field will be known as the Hood Maine Monster.

Hood is one of the largest dairy producers in the country.

The Hood Maine Monster was constructed in 2003 when the Sea Dogs became affiliated with the Boston Red Sox. Located 315 feet down the left field line from home plate, the Hood Maine Monster has become a landmark feature of Hadlock Field.
