The cause of death for the 73-year-old Kalas is still unknown.
Kalas was a broadcaster for the Phillies for the last 38 seasons after a stint with the Houston Astros. A popular eatery at Citizens Bank Park is named after him. His distinctive bass voice was also familiar to generations of football fans after he narrated many NFL Films presentations.
