It was a bittersweet experience, to be sure: No matter if you consider it the real Yankee Stadium or a pretender rebuilt in the 1970s (our view), the ballpark surrounds the same field that hosted Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Mickey Mantle and Whitey Ford during the best years of their careers.
Over 140,000 fans toured Yankee Stadium this past year.
