The Waukesha (Wis.) Planning Commission gives final approval to a Northwoods League ballpark for Frame Park.
The Waukesha (Wis.) Planning Commission gave final approval to a Northwoods League ballpark for Frame Park, clearing the way for Chad Bauer to begin budgeting for construction on the facility.
The approval came on a 5-2 vote after Bauer presented altered plans to meet the city’s height requirements.
Bauer’s $2-million ballpark plan calls for a facility seating initially seating 1,600, with potential expandability to 3,000. A grandstand building will contain concessions, restrooms and team offices, with bleachers installed down each line. A party deck is part of the plan as well.
