"This is great news for us and the award is very much appreciated," said owner Ken Silver. "James (Wolfe) and Denise (Holland) have worked extremely hard this year to get this franchise up and running and they are truly deserving of this award."
The Owls were selected after team owners, general managers, head coaches, players, umpires, and league officials voted on various areas of concentration regarding the past season. Forest City hit the ground running from day one and finished ranking high in many different categories, including – but not limited to – best ballpark appearance and playing surface, best job done with concessions and best broadcaster.
