We have personnel news to report from the Clinton LumberKings (Low A; Midwest League) and the Missoula PaddleHeads (Rookie; Pioneer League).

In Clinton, the LumberKings have named Michael Broskowski their new Director of Broadcast and Media Relations. Broskowski comes to the LumberKings after working in the same capacity with the Orem Owlz (Rookie; Pioneer League) for the past two seasons.

Broskowski will serve as the voice of the LumberKings, broadcasting all 140 games on WCCI 100.3 FM. In addition to calling the action, he will produce written content for the LumberKings’ website as well as local media outlets, contributing to social media and assist with the team’s ticket and sponsorship sales.

Broskowski joined the Owlz in 2018, broadcasting all 76 Owlz games while handling media relations for the club. Before joining the Owlz, he spent four seasons in Burlington, starting his professional career with the Burlington Bees (Low A; Midwest League) in 2014 as the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations.

Prior to Burlington, Broskowski worked for the California Winter League in Palm Springs, working alongside former LumberKings Director of Broadcast and Media Relations, Erik Oas. Broskowski graduated from Western Illinois University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. While at Western Illinois, Broskowski was the play-by-play broadcaster for the both the Leatherneck baseball team and women’s basketball team. During his time at Western Illinois, Michael spent time broadcasting in the Alaska Baseball League with the Mat-Su Miners and two seasons with the Rochester Honkers (summer collegiate; Northwoods League).

In Missoula, the PaddleHeads have named Tyler Hill their new Director of Sales. Hill will oversee the PaddleHeads sponsorship opportunities and ticket sales for the baseball team.

“We are excited to announce Tyler Hill has joined our front office team,” said PaddleHeads Vice President Matt Ellis. “He has long been a corporate partner with our franchise through his management of Cherry Creek Media and understands the value of our product and impact on the community. He will bring his local knowledge and passion for our product and game to his position for the benefit of our fans and sponsors. He immediately joins our team’s passionate planning for a great 2020 season that, I promise, will entertain and make Missoula proud.”

Hill, who spent his childhood in Fort Collins, CO, journeyed just an hour south to Greely, CO where he attended the University of Northern Colorado and studied Business Management. Hill, a huge outdoors enthusiast, loves doing anything and everything he can in the wilderness, so in 2002 when the opportunity to arose he was thrilled to migrate north and call Montana home. Hill, who joins the team with a long history of success in sales and business management, has spent the last seven years with Cherry Creek Media, serving the last two years as their General Manager.

“I couldn’t be more excited about joining the PaddleHeads team!” said Hill. “I have enjoyed playing and watching sports my entire life, and I have a special love for baseball. My son plays college baseball for the Wenatchee Knights. I feel like I am getting in at the ground floor with the PaddleHeads organization, because of the recent rebrand. I am very excited for what the future holds with both my new career, and the bright future of our team! This group is committed to the total fan experience, so I can’t wait to see you at the ballpark!”
