Frisco RoughRiders

The Frisco RoughRiders (Class AA; Texas League) celebrated a milestone on Thursday night, when they named their 8-millionth fan

Danielle Schneider of Highland Village was the grand prize winner of the RoughRiders’ 8 Millionth Fan Celebration Thursday night at Dr Pepper Ballpark. Schneider is officially the 8 Millionth Fan in franchise regular-season history and won season tickets for life, Raising Cane’s for a year and a Choctaw Lazy River package valued at $8,888.

Schneider was one of eight fans selected as finalists throughout the game who had the chance to be named the 8 Millionth Fan and take home a special Riders Party of 8 Prize Pack. In addition to the season tickets and Raising Cane’s for a year, Schneider had the opportunity to win $80,000, $8,000, $800, $80 or the Choctaw Lazy River package.

The crowd of 6,702 for the RoughRiders’ 13-6 loss to San Antonio pushed Frisco past the 8 million mark in all-time regular-season attendance, going back to the franchise’s inaugural season in 2003. Every fan in attendance Thursday received a special 8 Millionth Fan Celebration Scratch Off Card for the 8 Million Prize Giveaway, and every fan went home a winner!
