Now that the World Series has shifted to Houston, Minute Maid Park is rolling out some new food items at its concessions.
The Fall Classic between the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers is even at one game apiece, and moves to Minute Maid Park for game three on Friday. In advance of the first contest in Houston, Minute Maid Park concessionaire Aramark is introducing some new menu items that will be available at the ballpark over the coming days.
New food items will be served at several stands throughout Minute Maid Park, and cover a wide range of fare. More from The Houston Chronicle:
New concession items for World Series action include the #EarnHistory Burger, a double stacked bacon cheeseburger with brisket sausage on Challah bun, kicked up a notch with jalapeno strips.
Aramark’s executive chef at Minute Maid Park, Dominic Soucie, has added two different kinds of fry dishes at the Budweiser Brew House: The Houston Green Chili Chicken Stak and the L.A. Queso Stak, made to cater to Dodgers fans rooting on their team in blue and white on the road.
Soucie has also introduced new street tacos and salsas, along with a special brisket taco, which sports a highly addictive chipotle aioli.
Minute Maid Park will host game three on Friday, followed by game four on Saturday and game five on Sunday. These will be the first World Series games to be played at the ballpark since 2005, when the Astros lost the World Series to the Chicago White Sox.
