The Bowling Green Hot Rods (Low A; Midwest League) are preparing for a special anniversary, as the club has released its 10th season logo.
The 2018 season will mark the tenth season of Hot Rods baseball in South Central Kentucky.
The commemorative logo, designed by Brandon Lamarche of 3-2 Designs, features elements similar to the team’s existing logo while adding in new, unique features. Lamarche, a former Hot Rods employee, incorporates a color scheme that resembles the current colors of the Hot Rods; navy and orange while also implementing a light blue accent. The addition of the accent color is a tribute to the Hot Rods parent club, the Tampa Bay Rays, whom they have been affiliated for all ten seasons since their move to Bowling Green in 2009.
“Over the last decade, the Hot Rods have been an integral part of the revitalization of downtown Bowling Green,” said Hot Rods general manager Eric C. Leach. “We thank the fans and the community for all the continued support, and the unveiling of this new commemorative logo will set the tone for the great things we have planned for next ten years.”
