The Wisconsin Woodchucks (summer collegiate; Northwoods League) have unveiled plans for The Bullpen, a new addition to Athletic Park.
Located down the first baseline, The Bullpen will occupy 6,500 square feet and will be open for all home games to single game buyers or small groups.
“We were looking to develop an area in the ballpark with great atmosphere and the feel of a Sunday afternoon barbeque with friends,” said Wisconsin Woodchucks president & general manager Ryan Treu. “The bullpen will be a fun area where guest can enjoy a really great beer and relax with friends. This space in the stadium gives fans an additional place for entertainment during games.”
The Woodchucks partnered with revi Design to design and build the space, which will feature a completely redeveloped Leinie’s Lodge and concession stand while adding new uniquely designed pergola roofs and tables to enjoy the area. The bullpen will also include outdoor games; including a Ping-Pong table, beanbag toss and foosball as a unique twist to watching a Woodchucks baseball game.
Woodchucks owner, Mark Macdonald says, “The Bullpen will be a great place for friends or business associates to meet after work and enjoy a baseball game in a relaxed environment that is designed for socializing.”
Bullpen tickets include your game ticket and entry to The Bullpen, All You Care to Eat and Drink Trig’s Smokehouse Green & Gold Brats, Angus Beef Hamburgers, All-Beef Hotdogs, Seasoned Tater-Tots, fountain soda and water, plus 3 beer tabs for only $25.00 in advance. Tickets will be $27.00 at the gate. The Bullpen also offers the option to reserve a table of 4, located right next to the fence. These tables can be reserved now for $110.00, which includes 4 tickets to The Bullpen and the table.
