The Albuquerque Isotopes (Class AAA; Pacific Coast League) welcomed the seven-millionth fan to Isotopes Park at Saturday night’s game.
General Manager John Traub and Orbit welcomed Haley Hammersley of Albuquerque at the gate (as shown above) and presented her with a trip to see the Colorado Rockies in Denver. Included in the package are two tickets to a Rockies game, two round-trip airline tickets courtesy of All World Travel and hotel accommodations. Hammersley works at Sandia National Labs and was accompanied by Edward Irra.
Now in their 13th season, the Isotopes annually rank among Minor League Baseball’s attendance leaders. Albuquerque averages 577,173 fans a year and nearly 8,200 fans per game. The club has ranked in the top five for overall attendance and average attendance in the Pacific Coast League since they came into existence in 2003.
