Good news for the Biloxi Shuckers (Class AA; Southern League): the team has sold out its luxury suites at MGM Park for the coming season.
“This is a very exciting day for us,” said Shuckers General Manager Buck Rogers. “The fact that our suites are sold out months before we play our first game is a great sign and is indicative of how supportive the Gulf Coast has been to our arrival.”
MGM Park will feature 12 suites, all with multiple-year contracts. Each suite is air conditioned and has capacity to entertain up to 20 guests during Shuckers games and other events held at the facility. The Suites Level is located on the top floor of the ballpark, and all suites are located between the bases, giving suite holders prime viewing area of the action on the field.
The Shuckers have already started keeping a waiting list for companies and individuals who wish to become suite holders in the future. Existing suite holders will have the opportunity to extend their leases as their current contracts expire.
The team also has sold in excess of 60 percent of MGM Park’s Club Level seat inventory, which are the padded seats located direct behind home plate and above the dugouts.
“We are humbled by the excitement that’s building,” Rogers said. “To have this level of support already really bodes well for the long-term success of the organization.”
