New for 2014: Radiology Associates Field at Jackie Robinson Ballpark

Radiology Associates Field at Jackie Robinson Ballpark

We have a naming-rights deal to report: the home of the Daytona Cubs (High Class A; Florida State League) will be known as Radiology Associates Field at Jackie Robinson Ballpark.

“We love the great people at Radiology Associates and are proud to have their name on our freshly renovated ballpark,” said Daytona Cubs Owner Andy Rayburn, who purchased the Daytona Cubs in 2000 and has since increased attendance at Cubs games by over 100 percent.

In addition to the naming rights of Jackie Robinson Ballpark, Radiology Associates Imaging will also receive signage on the front and back of the scoreboard in left field, a signage marquis outside the new east gate, outward facing signage on the back of the grandstands behind home plate, sponsorship of Breast Cancer Awareness Wednesdays and sponsorship of the batting circles outside both dugouts.

“Radiology Associates Imaging is honored to have the opportunity to continue our long history of support of the Daytona Cubs and Jackie Robinson Ballpark,” said Al Falco, Chief Executive Officer of Radiology Associates Imaging. “This endeavor allows Radiology Associates Imaging to formally connect our name to a culturally historic stadium and continue to support the preservation of a family-friendly venue.”

Daytona Cubs General Manager Josh Lawther has overseen the entire offseason renovation process at Jackie Robinson Ballpark and is extremely excited for the Cubs’ enhanced partnership with Radiology Associates Imaging.

“Radiology Associates has been a loyal and dedicated partner over the years, and not only with the Cubs, but also as a member of our community,” Lawther said. “I am thrilled that such a prominent first-class organization will be further associated with historic Jackie Robinson Ballpark for years to come.”

Radiology Associates Imaging serves over 180,000 patients annually with 22 radiologists in five imaging centers spanning Flagler, St. Johns and Volusia counties in Central Florida.

“This new partnership serves as a tremendous source of civic pride to our more than two hundred and fifty physicians and employees who provide first class medical imaging services,” Falco said. “Radiology Associates Imaging has been a contributing member of our community for over fifty years and this agreement reinforces that status.”
