The Cincinnati Reds and Great American Ball Park will host the 2015 All-Star Game, according to a report in the Cincinnati Enquirer.
MLB Commissioner Bud Selig is slated to hold a press conference on Wednesday, ostensibly to discuss baseball’s ongoing efforts to build and renovate playing fields in inner cities. He will then announce the awarding of the 2015 Midsummer Classic, according to this report from John Fay.
It will be the fifth time the game has been held in Cincinnati, but the first at GABP. The 2013 All-Star Game is set for Citi Field, while the 2014 game will be held at Target Field.
