Fisher Cats welcome three-millionth fan

New Hampshire Fisher CatsThe New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Class AA; Eastern League) welcomed the three-millionth fan in team history to Northeast Delta Dental Stadium tonight.

Milford, N.H. resident Brian Hutcheons and his family were presented with an Fisher Cats prize pack, which included four season tickets to the 2013 season.

“Congratulations to Brian for being the three-millionth fan to enjoy Fisher Cats baseball,” said Fisher Cats President Rick Brenner. “We want to thank all of our fans, the best in baseball, for continuing to support us each and every game for the past nine seasons. We look forward to entertaining millions more as we approach our tenth anniversary season in 2013.”

Thursday’s attendance of 6,579 pushed the Fisher Cats season total to 317,472, breaking the three-million barrier in the process. After being recognized as the three-millionth fan and throwing out the ceremonial first pitch, Brian, his wife, Kim, and daughters Ella and Eva enjoyed the rest of the game in a Fisher Cats luxury suite.

The Fisher Cats reached the three-million milestone less than 3 seasons after crossing two million in May 2010. On May 15 that season, 10-year-old Brendan Howard of Fremont, N.H. took home a prize pack as the two-millionth fan. Three years prior, 10-year-old Drew Farris of Andover, Mass., was recognized as the one-millionth fan in franchise history.
