The DeKalb County Liners are leaving the summer-collegiate Prospect League and will play in 2012 in the Midwest Collegiate League.
DeKalb will join the DuPage County Hounds, Chicago Zephyrs, Rockford Foresters, Southland Vikings and Will County CrackerJacks in the league’s 2012 lineup. The league plans to announce additional expansion news soon.
“We are extremely excited to welcome the Liners and their owner, Kim Wise, into our League,” said Commissioner Don Popravak. “The DeKalb market offers the Midwest Collegiate League an ideal location. which is easily accessible from the Interstate Highway.”
