Mark it on your calendars: The Mahoning Valley Scrappers have been named host of the 2012 New York-Penn League All-Star Game, to be played in mid-August 2012 at Eastwood Field.
The official date will be determined once the 2012 New York-Penn League schedule is released in the fall.
This will be the first time the Scrappers have been awarded the New York-Penn League All-Star Game.
