On deck: Overstock.com Coliseum

Oakland AthleticsOakland-Alameda County Coliseum could become Overstock.com Coliseum if the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum Authority approves a six-year naming-rights deal at a Wednesday meeting.

As first reported in Sports Business Daily, the home of the Oakland Athletics and the Oakland Raiders would have yet another name, joining Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum (1966-1998, 2008-2011), Network Associates Coliseum (1998–2004) and McAfee Coliseum (2004–2008) in the naming-rights parade. The deal would run six years, with Overstock.com paying a little under $2 million annually.
