The start-up Nashua Silver Knights (summer collegiate; Futures Collegiate Baseball League), playing out of historic Holman Stadium this coming season, unveiled team logos and colors for the 2011 campaign.
Aurelien Durand, who resides in Paris, France, designed the logos. Durand was introduced to the Silver Knights management when he had previously participated in the New York-Penn League Logo Contest and the New York-Penn League All Star Contest.
“I always wanted to design a baseball team logo, and I thank the City of Nashua and the Silver Knights for having given me this opportunity,” said Durand. “This was a one-of-a-kind opportunity and I’m really proud of the results. It was exciting to create a logo from scratch for the Silver Knights.”
“Aurelien is one of the most talented designers I have ever worked with,” said Nashua Silver Knights President Tim Bawmann. “The ability to find someone with his creativity and passion for baseball as far away as Paris, France is truly amazing. He delivered a logo that I’m confident the Nashua community can be proud of. Our Silver Knight is the “Gate Keeper” to the City.”
