Indians adding specialty restaurant to Victory Field

New Captain Morgan Cove

The Indianapolis Indians (Class AAA; International League) continue their makeover of Victory Field with a new premium dining addition for the 2011 season, sponsored by spirits giant Diageo.

The team is adding a Captain Morgan Cove group area to the left-field corner, envisioned as a premium seating area. The 15′ x 60′ bar and grill area will be located on the lower level concourse near the left-field foul line, in the northwest corner of Victory Field. The Captain Morgan Cove is expected to seat up to 115 guests and be available for large groups or individual ticket purchasers. The pavilion will have a roof with open walls.

The new section is sponsored by Diageo.

“We are excited to embark on this partnership which provides our fans with new options for premium seating as well as a full spirits bar available to all ticketholders,” said Cal Burleson, vice president and general manager of the Indianapolis Indians. “We are confident this new destination within the ballpark will be well-received and thoroughly appreciated.”

The Captain Morgan Cove will offer a full bar, including wine, spirits, Indiana craft beers on tap and a selection of specialty drinks. Wait service will be available to guests in the premium seating area.
