The Tri-City ValleyCats (short season; NY-Penn League) set a franchise record for attendance, as over 7,000 fans packed Joe Bruno Stadium today.
In fact, the final tally was 7,005 for "Time Warner Cable Customer Appreciation Night" at The Joe, with thousands of Time Warner subscribers in the ballpark. The cable company also televised the game live on TW-3.
Alas, the end result wasn't too kind to the 'Cats: they dropped a 9-6 game to the Jamestown Jammers.
