Vin Scully will make a rare trip east of Colorado to call the June 18 game at Fenway Park between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox.
He'll be calling only one game in the series; Fox will broadcast Saturday's game and ESPN has the rights to the Sunday game of the series. Still, the trip will be a noteworthy one for the legendary broadcaster, who now broadcasts only Dodgers home games and away games in Colorado and the West Coast. He still ventures outside this area for special events — he made the same trip in 2004 when the Dodgers last visited Fenway Park in interleague play — and at 82 years old Scully is still going strong.
