After 23 year as a Triple-A GM, Bruce Baldwin is stepping from his position with the Gwinnett Braves (Class AAA; International League).

Baldwin's baseball career began in 1982 with a stint with Pulaski in the rookie Appalachian League. After spending time with the Savannah Braves (later the Greenville Braves), he was named GM of the Richmond Braves and spent 22 years in that position before the team moved to Gwinnett.

"Bruce has been such a valuable member of our organization," said Mike Plant, Braves Executive Vice President of Operations. "He's been a part of the Braves since 1982 and we're pleased he will continue to lend his vast experience to assist our organization."

Baldwin will stay with the G-Braves until a replacement is named.
