It should be a fun time for all when the look of the Richmond Flying Squirrels is unveiled.
The Richmond Flying Squirrels (Class AA; Eastern League) have announced a press conference on Tuesday, December 1st at 2 p.m. to unveil the team’s new logo for its inaugural season at The Diamond. In addition, the team has also announced that its new merchandise store located at The Diamond will hold a “soft” grand opening in conjunction with the logo unveiling.
“This will be another historic day for our organization and the city of Richmond as the Flying Squirrels brand begins to take shape,” said Flying Squirrels’ CEM Chuck Domino. “We are very excited about the design and identity that Plan B Branding has created and feel that it reaches baseball fans of all ages.”
The Flying Squirrels’ new team store will also hold its “soft” grand opening in conjunction with the logo unveiling. The 2,800 square-foot venue, which was formally the in-stadium restaurant, is expected to have headwear, T-shirts, sweatshirts, polos and outerwear available for the event. All items will be emblazoned with the new Flying Squirrels logo.
