Three sites for a new Omaha Royals (Class AAA; Pacific Coast League) ballpark will be discussed at tonight’s Sarpy County Board of Commissioners meeting.
The sites are in La Vista and Bellevue. They all call for additional development — including movie theaters, office/retail, and hotels — along with the ballpark. That was a prime goal of the Sarpy County Board; it’s the rationale for the tax-increment financing behind the project.
