In the first public discussion of the aesthetics of a new Florida Marlins ballpark, the plan was approved by Miami’s Planning Advisory Board.
The move was expected; the reason to cover it is that more details about the ballpark design and logistics were discussed. For instance, the Marlins discussed plans to provide water-taxi service to the ballpark on gamedays. In addition, the left-center-field part of the exterior will be glass, giving fans a chance to look at the Miami skyline. And the height of the ballpark will be 269 feet high.
