The city of Kannapolis may buy out Rowan County’s share of Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium, the home of the Kannapolis Intimidators.
The city of Kannapolis may buy out Rowan County’s share of Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium, the home of the Kannapolis Intimidators (Low Class A; Sally League).

This information was disclosed at a meeting of Rowan County Commissioners, during a discussion of how to bring down electricity costs at the ballpark on nights when the Intimidators are not playing.

Rowan County and Kannapolis has been involved in a very public spat over who exactly owns the ballpark.
