PA Sports, which is negotiating the lease, is proposing a three-year lease with two one-year options. That’s too short a lease for Weber, who says he’s willing to put money into the ballpark and fund his own improvements. He’s also proposing $150,000 a year in rent (a significant hike from the current yearly rent of $40,000) and a $50,000 annual contribution to the ballpark’s capital fund.
