In another imaginative exhibition matchup, the Springfield Cardinals (Class AA; Texas League) and the Quad Cities River Bandits (Low Class A; Midwest League) will play on April 5 at Modern Woodmen Park.
The two Cardinals farm teams have history, of course; Quad Cities stars move up the ladder to Springfield. It’s also the first time a Double-A game has been played at Modern Woodmen Park.
