This league played under the Arizona State League name in 1928-1930, under the Arizona-Texas League name in 1931-1950 and 1953-1954, and the Arizona-Mexico League name in 1955-1958. In 1951-1952 this league merged with the Sunset League and played under the Southwest International League name, but many of the Arizona-Texas League teams left the Southwest International League in 1952 and returned to the Arizona-Texas League.
