The Oakland A’s announced on Tuesday that the playing surface at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum will be renamed in honor of Rickey Henderson. The Hall of Famer will be on hand on April 3, when Rickey Henderson Field is dedicated before the A’s Opening Day matchup against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. (more…)
