Personnel News: Milwaukee, Green Bay

Milwaukee Brewers

We have personnel news to report from the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Bullfrogs (summer collegiate; Northwoods League).

In Milwaukee, the Brewers have named Sophia Minnaert to the new position of broadcast and digital features content director.

“Sophia has built a strong connection to the Brewers organization and fans of the team through her outstanding work on FOX Sports Wisconsin,” said Brewers Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger. “She is an extraordinarily talented professional and we look forward to her further enhancing our video content in game telecasts and digital features. We are very fortunate to have this opportunity to add Sophia to our front office roster in this new role.”

Minnaert will continue to act as both a host and reporter for Fox Sports Wisconsin telecasts during the regular season and Spring Training. In addition, she will produce and host digital features in both English and Spanish that will be shared on a variety of platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Brewers.com.

Also in her new role, Minnaert will host daily Spring Training reports from the team’s complex in Arizona. She will gather material for in-season use and work with the Brewers’ social media team and radio broadcaster Lane Grindle on strategic planning and implementation of feature content.

“I am extremely grateful to the Brewers organization for this opportunity to continue working with the team, front office and the excellent FOX Sports Wisconsin crew,” said Minnaert. “As a Wisconsin native, it is a true privilege to contribute to game broadcasts and provide engaging content to share with Brewers fans. I look forward to many more seasons to come.”

Since 2013, Minnaert has reported from the sidelines during Brewers telecasts on Fox Sports Wisconsin. In addition to that role, she worked on Milwaukee Bucks telecasts and the WIAA Football State Championships. In November 2013, Minnaert and FOX Sports Wisconsin traveled to the Dominican Republic for the series Baseball in the Dominican Republic. The series earned an Emmy for the Brewers Academy program, and a nomination for Baseball in the Dominican Republic: Jean Segura.

A native of Madison, Wis., Minnaert graduated from Edgewood High School before going on to earn degrees in journalism and Spanish from Marquette University.

In Green Bay, the Bullfrogs have named Brian Kuklinski their Corporate Advertising Manager.

“We are excited to have Brian in this new role for the Bullfrogs,” Bullfrogs General Manager, Sieeria Vieaux said. “We feel that Brian brings a lot to the table as Corporate Advertising Manager and will continue to push the recent success of the Bullfrogs organization.”

Kuklinski has spent the last 20 years in the radio industry, with the last eight specializing in advertising sales. He is currently in the midst of his fifth season announcing home games for the Bullfrogs, as well as being the radio play-by-play voice of the Green Bay Phoenix Men’s Basketball Team. Kuklinski came from Woodward Radio Group where his focus was developing strategic integrated marketing campaigns to help the business growth of clients. “I enjoy a relationship-based approach to sales, and always have the best business interest of my clients in mind. I also enjoy working with a diverse portfolio of business categories.”

Kuklinski is originally from Oshkosh and even attended UW-Oshkosh. Currently he resides in Green Bay with his wife, Jamie and their twin sons Trevor and Jonah.

“I couldn’t be more excited to join the Green Bay Bullfrogs at this very exciting time in team history! I look forward to working with the local business community to develop great partnerships in anticipation of the opening of the new ballpark.”
